Being tired is often regarded as an unfortunate state to be in. In a world and culture that promotes being alert and productive in the 3-D realm, this is understandable. For this article, I will speak of tiredness of the mind, not of the body. With the mind in a tired state, it is less alert in the 3D world, more in a state of rest, and closer to the astral world which we go to in our dreams during sleep. So, it is not just “less there” it is also somewhere else, more in tune with something else, and more relaxed.
Depending on the task at hand, it may be more advantageous to be in this state than to be fully awake and alert. For example, less mind-intensive tasks like cleaning or light yard work may be better suited for a tired state of being. Or, creative tasks like painting, building, and even brainstorming; or coming up with writing ideas like precisely this one. As we are closer to the astral, we are more in tune with our Being, who divinely guides us in life, giving us inspiration and fostering creativity, all of which leads us towards our higher purpose and longings.
In the morning, remaining in tune with the astral can be a way to integrate our astral and physical worlds, perhaps even to say, help make our dreams a reality. Because, after a long nights sleep there may be one or more dreams to process, which can be brought from our subconscious mind to our conscious one. So, to foster this transition, we might consider abstaining from checking our phones first thing upon waking, forgoing coffee or other stimulants at first, writing down dreams, or even having a morning meditation. What you choose to do can be left up to the moment, as your Being’s needs on any particular morning might vary.
And, in the tired state before going to sleep, we can be equally creative, especially reading and writing. Calming activities can help us transfer to the sleep realm smoothly. Generally speaking, our bodies may put us into a tired state for a reason, not just to signal going to sleep. We should consider going along with it to see what happens. Perhaps it will be tasks or thoughts that it helps us through. Or, it could train us to operate in a more relaxed state, leading us to be more relaxed overall. And perhaps it is the balance we need to offset the excitement that embodies modern life.
